Some days we wake up more discouraged, tired and thoughtful. We feel that our struggles have taken a lot of effort and produced few results. Do not be discouraged. Bula Magazine has selected some productions that will help you overcome the most difficult days. Road to Summer (2022), Sofia Alvarez
Auden West is an exemplary student and daughter of academics. She is a high school graduate and wants to spend a carefree summer in Colby before leaving for college. Despite her mother’s objections, she wants to spend time with her absent father, who is still locked in his office at work. He has another child from his remarriage and lives in Colby. Arriving there, Auden doesn’t get along with her stepmother’s teenage employees and feels like an outcast. When she meets the shy, curly-haired Eli, the two approach and begin to come out of their shells.

The duo face setbacks on their journey, but with the help of family and community members who support and encourage their success, they overcome their challenges together.
