6 Easter Eggs And Trivia From The She-Hulk Trailer You Didn’t Notice

She-Hulk is one of the big releases from Marvel Studios still in 2022. And it’s very close, since there are less than 3 months left for the premiere of the series on Disney+. Marking a mega marathon of INTERRUPTED MCU content.

After all, we had Doctor Strange 2 now in May. While we will have the premiere of M/s. wonder in June, and in July, it will be the turn of Thor: Love and Thunder. Until next month – obviously August – we’ll have She-Hulk’s debut in the MCU.

The series marks the arrival of Tatiana Maslany like this iconic Marvel comics heroine in her first live-action appearance. Like the return of Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk and Tim Roth like the Abomination.

While the trailer sparked some discussion about the show’s special effects, the preview is quite fun and brought up some interesting details that a lot of people didn’t notice.

Without further ado, we list the main Easter eggs and trivia from the trailer. To verify:

She-Hulk and his Shang-Chi connection

One of the big surprises of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings was that the film brought back the Abominable, a villain from the old The Incredible Hulk. The villain had already been confirmed in She-Hulk when the film was released, so it served as anticipation for his role in the series.

But behold, that connection paid off in that big Easter egg in the trailer. In Shang-Chi’s film, we see Wong open a portal and take the Abomination somewhere.

This same scenario, which is the villain’s cage, is precisely where it is seen in the trailer for the series. Good balcony!

Reference to Marvel Legends

In this scene you can see the name of the law firm called GLKH. It turns out to be the name of the same law firm from Dan Slott’s famous comic book phase, which is simply the basis of the series.

The acronym stands for Goodman, Lieber, Kurtzberg and Holliway. Turns out 3 of those names are a BIG REFERENCE to Marvel mainstays.

Good man it’s for Martin Goodman, founder of the company that years later would become Marvel. Lieber, is Master Stan Lee’s original surname. While Kurtzberg is the real last name of Jack Kirby, another pivotal legend in Marvel history.

Frogman or…?

Frogman in the She-Hulk trailer

In a brief second of the trailer, it is possible to see the FROG MAN! Obscure, iconic but irrelevant character from Marvel comics. Since the series is specifically about laws and court cases involving superheroes, this is a great opportunity to honor these characters without much popularity.

However, it turns out that the Frog-Man in the trailer could be the DEMOLISHER! Fans were quick to notice and remember a story from the comics where Matt Murdock has to go undercover and wears the Frog-Man costume.

It will be?!

change of origin

One of the more subtle, but seemingly made abundantly clear, details in the trailer is that we should have a change in She-Hulk’s origin.

Since it is possible to see a scene of a car accident, leave the road and fall on a hill. It is very likely that it is the accident suffered by Jennifer that forces the Hulk to give a blood transfusion to his cousin.

In the comics, she also gains her powers through a transfusion of Banner’s blood. However, the accident is much more brutal. Because Jennifer is shot by a gangster.

the abominable

Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky in She-Hulk

Yes, the Abomination is from the series and we know it very well. But here’s an interesting detail that’s even new to the character after the Incredible Hulk and Shang-Chi.

That’s because both films don’t imply that the villain can revert to his human form. While the She-Hulk trailer quietly reveals Emil Blonsky as a human. Giving the air of grace and the great opportunity to see Tim Roth back in the MCU.

Titania - Series x HQ

The trailer obviously focuses more on our first look at She-Hulk, but takes the opportunity to quickly reveal the series’ villain.

Titania, Jennifer’s famous villain in the comics, is played by Jameela Jamil, actress famous for the series The Good Place. Although she hasn’t been 100% confirmed as Titania, it seems that is her role.

Obviously, with a necessary change to his uniform.
