This Friday (20), seven other neighborhoods will receive actions from the town hall with the aim of containing the epidemic and fighting the Aedes aegypti mosquito, which transmits dengue fever, zika, chikungunya and yellow fever.

Epidemiological surveillance agents to combat endemic diseases will carry out door-to-door inspections in search of possible breeding grounds in the neighborhoods of Jardim Biagioni, Jardim Santa Lúcia, Vila Santa Maria and Jardim do Bosque.

The nebulization will pass through Jardim Nova Época, while the smoke will be carried out in Jardim dos Manacás and Parque das Laranjeiras.

The agents of epidemiological surveillance to fight against endemic diseases always work in uniform, with a gray shirt and a brown vest, in addition to circulating in official cars.

More information can be obtained by calling the epidemiological surveillance ombudsman, on 0800-7740440, or on WhatsApp from the town hall, (16) 99760-1190.

It should be remembered that the irregular disposal of garbage, solid waste, bulky (sofas, armchairs and mattresses) and fires in urban and rural areas also cause damage to health and the environment. Complaints to official bodies can be made by calling (16) 3339-5000.

With the increase in the number of cases and deaths from dengue fever, the town hall warns about the symptoms of the disease: fever, body aches, headaches, pain behind the eyes and spots on the body.

In case of symptoms, the Dengue Care Center works at the field hospital, every day, including weekends and public holidays, from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

It is also possible to seek treatment in the municipal health units – which treat suspected cases of dengue – the posts operate Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Urgent Care Units (UPA) are open 24 hours a day, including that of Vila Xavier, who has also treated other pathologies, including dengue fever.

When the patient is treated, he must bring his identity document, his SUS card and proof of residence with postal code.
