In the week of May 16 to 20, all Basic Health Units (UBS) in Jundiaí are carrying out vaccination against COVID-19 and against influenza. With the approach of falling temperatures and the increase in the circulation of respiratory videos, it is essential that the qualified population for applications request vaccination or the addition of the vaccination schedule, in the case of COVID-19.

For influenza, people aged 60 and over, children six months to under five years old, pregnant and postpartum women (45 days postpartum), teachers, classroom assistants, child development workers, health professionals, indigenous peoples, security forces and transport professionals (road, public transport and long distance drivers).

Vaccination against COVID-19 continues to be offered to audiences over 5 years of age, according to specific doses and application periods. Children aged 5 to 11 should receive two doses, as well as adolescents aged 12 to 17. Immunocompromised people aged 12 and over and people aged 60 and over should receive four doses. For the public aged 18 to 59 without immunosuppression, three doses of the vaccine are recommended.

Also vaccinated: 1,143 people with comorbidities, 7 people with disabilities (PCD), 27 drivers and 8 security force agents.
