Marvel series that belonged to Netflix get a release date on Disney Plus

Update (05/10/2022) – GS

In March, the series wrecker, iron fist, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, The Avenger and defenders left the Netflix catalogas part of a new Disney strategy in re-release them on their own streaming platform, Disney Plus.

At the time, it only launched in a few countries and Brazil was not included, but this week Disney Plus Brazil confirmed the series premiere date in the catalog.

Since June 29fans will be able to see or re-watch the adventures of these urban heroes which present a more violent and dark side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but to prevent children from having access to this content, the platform has also announced parental control news.

From June 29, Disney Plus subscribers will be invited to update their parental controls profile to access the full catalog, which from that day will include content for 16+ and 18+, with the addition of these series live from Marvel. This update will allow them to restrict the content of each profile as well as add a PIN lock.

Subscribers who prefer to keep their current parental settings on their profile will continue to enjoy Disney+ content in a 14+ environment, with the ability to change parental controls at any time in the “Edit Profile” section.
